Rili shrimp is hardy and prolific like all neocaridina heteropodas. Rili is a pattern morph of various colors of the species–namely a clear or blue middle in between a colored head and tail. Rili morphs have been discovered so far in red, yellow, orange, and black n. heteropoda. Blue shrimp was derived from Red Rilis selectively bred for a bluer midsection, leading to Blue Rilis, to an eventually all blue shrimp
