The Blue neocaridina heteropoda is a morph of the Rili mutation, which traces its origins back to the Red Cherry Shrimp, and shares the hardy and prolific characteristics of all other neocaridina heteropodas.

Grading and Variations

Blue n. heteropoda do not follow the same grading scale as Red, Yellow, Orange, Browns, or Blacks. All current blue n. heteropodas are mostly translucent, although the intensity of blue may vary. In larger females, dark blue or opaque lines and patterns can often be seen.
